My story begins really when I broke up with my boyfriend of five and a half years. I broke up the relationship at Christmas as I felt that we were no longer for each other. After a few months we were still in contact and often talked about getting back together and giving things a second chance and then bam, he was gone. He informed me that he had met someone else, my world fell apart. I didn’t sleep or eat for days and felt that I would never be happy again. I have never been so down in my entire life. I prayed that he would come back to me and that I would just feel like myself again. I felt completely lost.

I make myself out to be such a confident and fearless person when infact my worst fear is being on my own.

I went through a phase of seeing many psychics looking for answers and wondering how my life would pan out. One particular psychic introduced me to The Secret and for that alone I will always be thankful to him. As soon as I came home I ordered the book online and went straight to The Secret website and began reading all the personal stories. They all really lifted my spirits and I still to this day, read them daily.

After watching the DVD and reading the book several times I realize that life is what you make it. I know that I have turned myself around for the better and am falling in love with who I am every day, and it is so exciting! I have learned to let go of any negative feelings and resentment towards my ex and wish him the best in life because he truly is a good person.

I have a lot to be grateful for and now realise this. I have the best of friends a girl could ask for, a great family, a great house, and the list goes on.

I know the universe will send me my soul mate soon and I am so excited to meet him and I will be back here writing my story. I know that the universe didn’t send my ex back to me for that particular reason and I trust in that – as Marylin Monroe said, ” Sometimes things fall apart so that better things can come together”. It is important to keep the faith, even when you are extremely down. Go to the website, read the stories and they will instantly lift your spirit!!
