A wonderful miracle
Submitted by: Georgeanne Scurlock
Bloomington, ILI'm a transplant to Illinois from Pittsburgh, and enjoy my life with my wonderful new husband.
I come from a large family with cousins galore. We all have one thing in common besides being related – we are all diabetic from our father’s side. The other day I was speaking to my sister who told me that my cousin had lost a significant amount of weight. That in and of itself is a wonderful thing, but that wasn’t the major portion of the miracle. My cousin was diabetic, and had been for quite some time. Her next step would have been dialysis. She’d gone to her doctor and was informed that she was no longer diabetic.
I know what you may be thinking, of course she’d lost weight, that always helps. But remember, we are all diabetic. The doctors are dumbfounded as to how this has occurred, since she’d been diabetic for a long time. She is 58 and has been on insulin. I had read The Secret, and just finished The Power last Tuesday, the 14th of June, when my sister informed me of my cousin’s wonderful miracle. I couldn’t be more happy for her and I know that we will all be free of this disease soon. I feel it and see it happening to all of us. I also hope and pray that others with this disease will be free too!
