My story starts about five years ago when I filed for divorce and decided to leave my abusive marriage of six years. It had left me filled with unwanted emotions which I’ve long forgotten by now.

I believe at the time I was using The Secret, unknowingly painting a picture in my head of what I want my life to be. Brief description: I was uneducated, financially broke, homeless and jobless as my husband was the breadwinner. I decided to leave with my sons and all we had were the clothes on our backs.

Since then, I finished my Matric and in 6 months and have a degree in Financial Management with honors. I bought my first house one year and six months ago and am currently in the process of buying a new car. I have the pleasure of providing a good life for my children and me.

I had read The Secret book while doing my Matric and read The Power when it was released. The Power has helped me release the power I always new I had over my life. I know how it works but for me it’s a bit of a trial and error of how to best use it to my advantage.

I heard about a week ago that our firm (worked for one month) will undergo a series of audits within our financial division. My boss was very anxious about this and everyone in the building was ready to close the doors due to previous audits. They were all very jumpy but I was calm and cool, my same cheerful self as always. I used The Secret while visualizing how my boss commended me for a job well done. I just kept on visualizing a positive outcome and used this as a wonderful opportunity to prove my skills and capability in this position. Plenty of people were not happy as I was the new appointee and other employees had applied for my post, and with good qualifications.

Well earlier today the audit went blissfully awesome. We were given a clean bill of practice against all odds and now I’m being called the new boffin. Needless to say my back feels wonderful with all the pats I got today.

I am just very lucky and blessed to be living my life victoriously as I am the ruler of my kingdom. If I can live the life of my dreams so can you.
