I have been working with an insurance company for the past two and a half years. I always wanted to become a cabin crew with a reputed airline, but it never came to me until I had read The Secret. I attended a couple of interviews before, got through till the last round, and still got rejected, and this time I didn’t want to leave it to fate or just luck. I was sure I wanted it.

I attended the interview, I visualized, I made a board and kept it in front of my bed. I took the printouts of the picture of cabin crews and on their badge I wrote my name. I just believed it was me on the board. And it didn’t take even a month for the interview results to favour me. I am now selected as a cabin crew for Jet and will be joining them by the end of May.

Another instance was about my boyfriend. He had done his engineering but had back papers for three years. He left his job to complete them. He gave three papers and was waiting for his results, but he didn’t have confidence that he would pass his chemistry paper. I kept on believing and confirming to him that he is definitely passing this time. In fact I told him that he need not worry about it because he has already cleared it. I asked him to apply for his passport so that now he can go abroad and look for a job. He even argued with me, saying he knows more than me, that he might not clear that one paper. I told him that I am sure he will. In fact I started feeling happy that he had cleared his paper.

And the day when he got his results, he was screaming out of joy. He cleared all his papers he was waiting for the last three years after he had passed out of college, and clearing his chemistry paper was like a miracle to him because he told me he could hardly answer those questions. He said it could have happened only because of my belief, and I told him, “That’s the universe who made it very easy for us, that’s my God!”
