The Unlimited Imagination
Submitted by: Alex.K
IsraelFor a few weeks now I have been reading a new book, “The Power,” and I think that I finally understand.
I was sitting in the bus on my way to meet a good friend of mine that I have not seen for a month, and I reached the part in the book that suggests trying to magnetize something unusual first.
I said to myself, “O.k, let’s play a game.” I imagined that my friend would be dressed in green sparkling shirt and would have her hair in a ponytail. I thought she would be very pretty like that. I saw it very clear in my imagination, and then thought of something different ’til the moment I met her. That moment was only 20 minutes later. When I saw her, she was dressed exactly as I imagined.
Later that day I tried to remember what I did differently this time and a few other times that had succeeded (I have had several occasions when what I’ve imagined came true in exact way word to word, scene to scene), and finally I understood. The simplicity of what I had imagined, the love that I felt for my friend, with no internal contradiction, with playful and simple thought and feeling.
“Let’s see what will happen.” I didn’t think about it later, I didn’t try to make it happen – I just played a game.
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to see the law of attraction at work. I understand now more and am full of love and gratitude for those enlightening books, “The Secret” and “The Power.”
Thank you so much!
