The Good Memories

I had work with my mother doing craft shows most of my life. She created some of the most beautiful dolls and photo albums you could ever want. The thing I loved the most was going to craft shows and setting up; I love arranging displays and the people were our greatest friends. When my mom died a few years ago, I quit doing crafts and going to the shows all together; they made me sad.
Thanksgiving weekend there is a big show and all our vendor friends are always there. It is like a big home-coming. I had read The Secret multiple times over and seen the video. I don’t own the books, but I will soon, I know. I was thinking how I was letting the craft shows make me feel sad and making them a negative experience, so I decided I was going to the Thanksgiving show and going to remember all the good things.
When I went, I saw my friends who were having bad sales and began talking to them, reminding them of how good it was just to see them. We all laughed and talked and had a good time. I found out that my friends ended the show not a lot richer in money, but in happiness, because they got to talking about the good times with my mom and me and it made them happy.
So yes, what you give out comes back to you. Forget the bad times because they are fleeting, remember the good and you will create more good memories.
