When my wife and I decided to start a family, we had just started listening to The Secret and we thought to ourselves, what if we applied this to our children. So we decided that what we wanted were twins, a boy and a girl and from the day we found out we were pregnant, we knew it would be a healthy boy and girl. They had to be because that was the only possibility that we allowed into our minds.

We only ever pictured having boy/girl twins, we never thought of having one child, or girl/girl twins or boy/boy twins. We knew what we wanted and knew that if we focused on it we could manifest them. Whenever we talked about my wife’s pregnant belly, even before we knew there were two, we would referred to it as “them.” I would say, “How are those babies in there?” and my wife would respond, “They’re doing well!” I would talk to them in the womb and say things like, “I’m sure you will love your sister and I’m sure you will love your brother.” Whenever people asked me or my wife about the pregnancy we would say, “They’re good, we felt them kick today…” and so on.

When it came time for the first ultrasound, the technician said, “There’s the heart beat…” as she moved the wand over my wife’s belly “…And oh, wait a minute, there’s another one! You’ve got twins!” The technician exclaimed. As we heard the news and saw the pictures of our babies on the ultrasound screen, my wife and I looked at each other and we knew that we had made this happen through the power of our thoughts. We weren’t very surprised though, because we knew it would be twins and the technician said, “You don’t seem surprised at all,” as we, we nodded our heads and looked at each other. We said, “Yeah we kind of had a feeling.”

Later, at the appointment where we found out the sexes of the babies the technician said the first baby was a boy and I was so exstatic, I was bursting with joy and when they said the other one was a girl I jumped up with excitement. These would be the two beautiful, healthy boy and girl twins that we had been dreaming about! As the technician broke the news she asked, “Did you have a feeling it was going to be a boy and a girl too?” And I responded, “Yes, I knew it from the moment they were conceived.”

Now they are 16 months old and have had nothing short of a perfect life…they are perfectly healthy, perfectly developing, happy babies and we are excited to teach them what they can be, have, and achieve!
