I had only recently come across “The Secret” after months of debt building. It’s all I was thinking about and every time we thought we’d paid it off, another letter would arrive. I was concentrating on debt and attracting it to me until after I read The Secret I realised how I’d already used it.

My husband has always said I’ve got an incredibly knack of getting whatever I want, and not things that can be controlled – a place at college, free childcare, a Wii Fit board when they were out of stock everywhere.

But the best thing I’ve gotten so far is my children. Despite being on a contraceptive for years that damages fertility, and despite starting to try (with both children) on weeks when we should
not possibly have been able to conceive, both my children were conceived in the first few days of trying. And I even got the two daughters I’d always longed for.

I wanted my children 3yrs apart, the age gap is 2yrs 11mths and 2wks. I thought about it all the time, saw myself as a mother, believed I was a mother, and it came true.

Now I’ve read the book and have learned more about how I can attract what I want. I have my beautiful children, now I’m working on our family home. We’ve seen our house and we will have it by the summer when they’re all built.
