I heard of The Secret for the first time after my ex-boyfriend broke up with me. I was sad, depressed, feeling really low and my mom made me read it. I’ll never forget the difference in me just after reading the first chapter. From that day on I was hooked!

I manifested a lot of things in my life. I realized that it’s very easy to get caught up in day to day stuff and get lost along the way sometimes.

After all of this I met my boyfriend a year and a half ago. I had asked the universe for my boyfriend and I finally got him! We have had our fair share of ups and downs but we were always willing to move forward. My boyfriend had a lot of growing up to do which led to a great mistrust in our relationship… it started tearing us apart because I wasn’t letting anything go. I kept rehashing everything from the past and would flat out tell him I didn’t trust him. I hadn’t even realized I had completely lost sight of The Secret.

All I had done was focus on the negative things in our relationship… kept thinking, “Oh, he’s never going to grow up… he always lies to me,” etc. The more I thought like that the worse things got.

This past week it all came to a head. We got into a huge fight and we almost just completely ended things. It wasn’t until I decided to go to The Secret website and read everyone’s stories that I realized what I have been doing! There was this giant light bulb that went off in my head that said, “Duhh I’ve brought this all to myself by focusing on the past and the negative!”

I sat down and wrote out a letter to my boyfriend. I wrote about what I loved about him, all of the fun time we had together, about our future, and about how strong our love is. He was at work when I did this and we were still fighting. When he called me I told him, “Please just let me read you this.” And so he let me and it completely broke the ice between both of us. It brought us back to the people we fell in love with and all the things we love about each other. We had a long talk after that and we both realized how very much we love each other and by using the power of The Secret we can move forward and have the perfect relationship we know we can have!

The Secret brought me my perfect man, and now I’m using it every day to make our relationship amazing. It’s really easy to get caught up in the day to day crap and lose sight of what we really want and let negative thoughts creep back in. You often do not even realize you’re doing it! I plan on using The Secret every single day and now we have letters in our apartment we read every day about how very much we love each other.
