TEXAS51 year old woman with a son. I have been blessed all my life.
In 2010, I thought of committing suicide. Being alone, working but living paycheck to paycheck, having a miserable life. I kept thinking of my 25 year old son, my family and pets and worried about how they would pay for my funeral. I woke up one morning and I kept thinking I need to go to the public library and get the book ‘The Secret’. I had heard about the movie and book The Secret for years.
I found ‘The Power’ which I did not even know about. It was an amazing read. For the past 6 years, I have been reading books about the LOA. It was then that I learned that I was meant to be successful and happy. Even after I had lost my home, was in debt and living without electricity for almost a year in an apartment I could not afford. I still wake up every morning being happy, counting my blessings, smiling at the world.
Time has passed and I am living the dream. I have been promoted and continue to get bonuses and awards at my job. I work for a great agency and with a wonderful team. I love my job and my life. I live in my new dream home and I am so happy. I continue to receive blessings all the time. Even on not so great days, I see the lesson in it. Like Michael Losier says, this is here because of me. So I change my thoughts, feelings and attitude.
In the past I have had dreams that I am standing in a room with people in the front of it. News reporters are there for my son and I. I am collecting a check. I look over at my son and show him the amount on the check and with tears in my eyes I tell him this is for all the years we did without. My dreams are so real. I remember everything about the dreams even the design and color of the carpet in the room. With that money, I am starting a program to help families with school supplies and clothes for their children and young adults. Another program is to educate people on how to care for their pets, start clinics for spaying and neutering, vaccinating and caring for them.
Thank you to Rhonda and her team. Blessings to everyone and everything.
