My parents sent me to a hostel in 11th grade so I would study, but I did not study anything for the JEE exams, and wasted the entire year. In 12th grade, I returned to my hometown and joined a local coaching center. I found excuses and shortcuts and did not study for the first 3 months. However, I finally met a mentor who held me accountable and made sure I studied for 14 hours every day.
I did not tell my parents that I had not studied in 11th grade and had even cheated on tests. I pretended that the marks were mine. I worked hard for the next 5 months and managed to clear JEE mains with a rank of 3249. It was an unexpected achievement, and I made my parents proud. I was aimless until I met my mentor. I am grateful to my mentor, to Rhonda, and to The Secret.
