Controlling Traffic And Passing The Road Exam!

Thank you to Rhonda and The Secret team for making such an amazing movie and book. It has shifted my consciousness so much!!! I can say I have made significant improvements these several months! I had some tiny achievements, but this is my second big success!!
It is December 30th, and I am glad to say I got my driver’s license as a teenager!! Now, for most people in the U.S., this is common, but to tell you the truth, I am one of those people who abhor driving! In my hometown, driving is not necessary. However, because I moved to a different place, it was necessary in order to get around. I spend my high school year taking the bus, and always needing rides from others. I do feel bad about that butI did not want to drive. It scared me so much!!!
It was not until a year or two ago that I knew that I needed to get my driver’s license – whether I like it or not, because it would make my life so much easier. I got my permit during the summer of my incoming senior year but did not start practicing behind the wheel until the summer. I wanted to delay it as much as possible, but I could not do it anymore. Fortunately, I have a loving family friend who has taught me most of what I need to know.
Today was my road exam, and here are the things I was worried about last night:
1. I have one chance to do parallel parking. I cannot do the rest of the road test if I do not pass this first. My parents keep telling me what to do, and I do not let myself judge how far I am from bumping the curb.
2. Slowing down at the yield sign and looking up at the bridge above me for incoming traffic. I did not practice turning my head around at all.
3. Switching lanes in the sometimes crowded highway. I am not used to looking at the rear and side mirrors and judging the distance between the cars. Also, I am not used to turning my head back while going 50 mph to check blind spots.
4. Slowing down at yield and U-Turns, and making sure no cars are coming from my front, right, and behind southeast. The cars coming from the southeast lane are pretty hard to see.
5. Safely merging to the left lane while entering the highway. Again, I am not used to judging the distance or doing quick blindspot checks because I didn’t have time to practice those things.
I had to come home during my breaks to make appointments to take the road exam. It would have been a hassle to bring my car to my college four and a half hours away and then have someone bring it back home. If I didn’t pass, I would have to wait until spring break to retake the test. I had a lot of fear. It took me about four hours to fall asleep last night.
Knowing The Secret, I know that I should not fear. I tried visualizing myself practicing parallel parking and getting it right. I imagined safely getting through the yield sign and that the highway did not have too much traffic. I pictured that I would merge into the left lane without any vehicles behind me. Most importantly, I imagined the word “passed” on the paper and me happily knowing that I had just got my driver’s license.
Here is what actually happened:
1. I completed the parallel parking without any trouble! This is also the first time I have done a successful parallel park without my parents instructing me!! The DPS lady even complimented me on my skills.
2. I was instructed to go on the bridge instead of through the yield sign! That means I did not have to yield, nor did I see any vehicles yielding to me!
3. The lady told me to switch lanes when I believed it was safe to do so. All the oncoming cars were so many feet away so I did not have to worry about checking my blindspots, but I did look into the side and rear mirrors to double check.
4. No cars were coming from my front, right, or behind me from the southeast! In fact, the lanes to my right were empty! Those lanes have never been empty every time I had come here before to practice!
5. As far as I could see in the rear mirror as I merged into the highway, no cars were behind me! This also has never happened to me before during my practice. Usually, there are at least one or two cars several feet away!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you so very much to the Universe for aiding me and helping me to pass the road test on the very first try! Thank you, thank you, thank you so very much! Now, I do not have to worry about taking the test again. It is over!!!!!!
I know that I am still a novice when it comes to driving, but I have years to practice! I am a cautious driver and never go past the speed limit. I will eventually get better at lane switching, but for now, I am extremely grateful for obtaining my driver’s license, especially in just one try. It took my mother three tries to get her driver’s license. Now, I can go places without having to ask other people to give me rides, and I can also give other people rides when they need them! Thank you so much, Universe. I love you!!!
To all readers: Please don’t give up. Knowing The Secret will change your life. Make the Universe/God your best friend!! The world is always there to help you! You just need to show appreciation, make your request clear, and believe you can do it! Do not listen to other people! My dad thought I would not pass. I definitely proved him wrong!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
