What are Affirmations?
Affirmations are positive, personal statements that describe yourself as you would like to be – at your very best, without limitations. The more often you repeat these positive statements, the sooner you come to form positive beliefs about yourself. Then, with this new, positive mindset, you will then begin to attract and manifest the life of your dreams!

How do Affirmations work?
Affirmations tap into the most powerful law in the Universe, the Law of Attraction. According to this law, you attract everything that comes into your life by virtue of your thoughts; whatever you are thinking and believing, you are attracting to you. When you think positive, affirmative thoughts about yourself, and repeat them often enough that you believe them, then you cannot help but attract that exact positive outcome to yourself.
Of course, the opposite is also true – when you think and believe negative thoughts about yourself, you attract negative outcomes. Therefore, it’s vitally important for you to remember that whenever you think or say “I am,” the words that follow are manifesting with a mighty force, because you are declaring it to be fact. You are stating it with certainty. You are affirming it to be so! And so immediately after you say, “I am tired” or “I am broke” or “I am sick” or “I am late” or “I am overweight” or “I am old,” then by the Law of Attraction, that is exactly what you will manifest.
Knowing this, wouldn’t it be a good idea to begin to use the two most powerful words, I AM, to your advantage? How about these affirmations: “I AM receiving every good thing. I AM happy. I AM abundant. I AM healthy. I AM love. I AM always on time. I AM eternal youth. I AM filled with energy every single day.”
What is the right way to do Affirmations and how frequently should I do them?
You should do affirmations every day, or every second day, depending on how quickly you want to change your life. First thing in the morning or at night before you go to sleep are both powerful times to practice affirmations.
There really isn’t a “right way” to do affirmations. You can say them out loud if you feel comfortable doing so, or you can repeat them mentally. Try both and see which way feels the most powerful for you. Just take care that your mind doesn’t skip over them mentally. Instead, give equal emphasis to each one, and most importantly, really feel the meaning of every single affirmation.
