March 21 was my birthdate. That day I received a present from an ex boyfriend that I dated from last year. Why is that a big deal? I’ll tell you why.

My ex boyfriend and I dated a year ago for a couple months. Due to rocky things and him finding another woman, we ended it. At that time I was upset because he kept telling me he loves me and I believed it. I did want him back, but he was happy with some other girl about a month later after our relationship ended.

To make things short, I would always tell myself he is going to come back no matter what. I imagined it and thought about it for a few weeks. I then forgot about it.

A year later, after not talking and no warning at all his best friend tells me to wait up somewhere before school. I was impatient and I thought I was an idiot for waiting.

Well guess who showed up?

My ex boyfriend with lots of balloons and a gift. I didn’t understand at all why he would buy me a present after bad vibes and not talking for a year. It just made me think back to that time last year when I really wanted him back and imagined him coming back into my life. Honestly, I feel like the universe was giving me the birthday surprise of my life.

I’m not really interested in anything other then him and I being friends, because I have no feelings for him whatsoever.

I just wanted to share with those people who lost their loves or want to get back with a certain person. Never in my life would I have guessed he would try and come back, even after a year. The Secret works on it’s own time. I hope I give anyone hope out there reading this because it does work.
