You Have To Believe!!
I discovered my passion for marketing in the media industry. I decided to follow my passion. I remember browsing through this job seeker website that my friend had recommended to me. The first couple of times I had been on that website, no jobs in the marketing industry had caught my interest.
Once I had decided that I wanted to follow my passion and pursue a career in marketing in the media industry, I went back on that job seeker website and came across the perfect internship!
Since I don’t have a lot of experience in the marketing/media industry and I had just decided to follow this passion of mine, I knew I needed to get my foot in the door by looking for a position that would help me gain more experience in this field that I’m so interested in. Well this internship position had everything that I was looking for in my prospective job; digital marketing, photography, events, entertainment, media, and it fit my experience because since it’s an internship, they teach you all the things you need to know in the marketing/media field!
I couldn’t have been more excited when I saw this internship position opening! I loved everything about it. I loved the company logo, what it stood for, job description, it’s website. When I saw it I just knew it was the perfect fit; like the perfect fitting slipper in Cinderella that I had been waiting for all along. I knew it was calling my name and I just went with my gut feeling.
I applied on the website and made a congratulatory acceptance letter saying that I was offered the internship position. I posted it on my wall and I had also emailed it to myself, as if the company had emailed me. This put me on the vibrancy of feeling like I had already been offered the internship position, that feel good/happy feeling. I also put the company logo on all of my everyday technological devices; my iPhone, iPad, and Macbook, to make sure that I’d be reminded of it and how much I love working there. At this point I knew all I had to do was feel happy and grateful on a daily basis to put me on the frequency of receiving from the Universe.
I always reminded myself that the Universe knows the best time and the universe knows what you want and is willing to give it to you, you just have to believe. I also put it up on my vision board. Having this up on my vision board definitely helped me to stay positive and know that my dream internship was on it’s way.
Lo and behold, the company had emailed me with a congratulatory acceptance internship offer by the exact date that I had put on my congratulatory acceptance letter that I had made!!
This proves to show that the Universe always has your back. I knew it was no coincidence; I knew the Universe would come around and give me what I wanted. The Universe works in mysterious ways. You just have to have complete faith in the Universe and believe.
Let go and let the Universe.
