Richmond, VAAs any normal human being, I've had doubts about The Secret. I've wanted things to come quick and when they didn't, I began to doubt, so I decided to head back to the website and re-read some of the teachings. I also listen to my audio book on a regular basis now. I wanted to share my story to encourage others to not give into doubt, look around, take in all the beauty around you, and the universe will reveal your path. I know without a doubt that I am on the right path. All my online networking sites have exploded with activity and I owe it all to The Secret. I am making new friends and meeting like-minded people. It is only a matter of time before I fulfill my dreams. Thank you!
I ran away from home about two months ago and I went to stay with my girlfriend at her university. I was in a deep depression. My dog had just died the week before, and my parents were treating me like crap, so I decided I had had enough and left. While at the university with my girlfriend, I went through a deep depression, I was constantly nauseous for two weeks. I couldn’t eat; I had constant migraines, dizzy spells, nightmares, horrible aches in my chest, panic attacks. I understood why some people commit suicide. I constantly had crazy thoughts of ending my life. Luckily for me I knew that it was all in my head and I knew that the pain would eventually end.
My girlfriend suggested I watch yoga or something like yoga on Netflix to help me to relax. Instead of Yoga, I found “The Secret” movie. After watching the movie I decided to go on The Secret Facebook Fan page to look for some quotes. As I was scrolling down I noticed this post:

Also, the only thing I really wanted for Christmas this year was a book. When asked what kind of book I wanted, I said, Any book by someone like, Emerson, or Henry David Thoreau, or Twain. I got everything else I could have wanted except for a book. A few days after watching The Secret, I remembered I had an iTunes gift card that I was actually trying to sell. Instead, I used my iTunes gift card that I got for Christmas to purchase “The Secret” audio book.
Since watching the movie and reading the book, I am happier than I’ve ever been in my life. I constantly share my experiences and teachings with my friends and family.
