I would like to share my story with The Secret team and website, because an unbelievable change happened just as described in the teachings of the book, that started before I had even heard of The Secret. However I will be eternally grateful to The Secret for pointing out that it was not a coincidence that happened.

I moved from England to Ireland three years ago, but have had real trouble finding a permanent job. Fortunately I have managed to attract a string of temporary positions that have kept me going, but really wanted some inspiration and motivation, a challenge in my life that would attract a great career, harmonious working environment, and owning my home again.

Before I had even heard of The Secret, I sat at home unemployed and broke, wishing to be given some ray of light for my future. My mother had passed over to the other side some 21 years previous, and, believing her to be my guardian angel, I wanted to find a genuine medium so that I could be guided by her again. Our relationship was very strong when she was alive, but seems even more so now.

One day just after I had been made redundant I was sitting in my living room and thought I saw an advert for a psychic fair. I even rummaged all through the recycling bin to find it, but it had completely “vanished”, so I telephoned the hotel that was supposedly hosting this event, and they told me nothing was booked for the near future. I just put this down to my imagination until about 3-4 weeks later when a sign was put up at the front of the hotel advertising the event. I got really excited, and actually said that I wanted to meet a genuine medium, knowing there to be some fakes around, especially at these type of events.

A couple of hours before I went there I had a vision of a man in a black jumper, and hey presto, when I entered the room there he was! I didn’t even look at the other psychics there. I waited patiently and excitedly for some three hours or so, and he gave a truly magnificent reading and was so spot on. He read my palm and told me that a big change in my career was about to be, and that I would be moving house. I just know my mother was there too. He told me about The Secret, so I borrowed the book from the library, and having read it was absolutely astounded at how the events had unfolded.

I asked the universe, I felt grateful, very excited, and believed, and boy did I receive.

I am so grateful to know that my mother hadn’t in fact left me at all, and had given me the best guidance ever. At the time of writing I am still unemployed, but the positivism of knowing what I am about to receive is priceless. I have never before felt so positive in a seemingly negative situation. I continue to give thanks daily now for my lovely family and pets, and for what I am about to receive, and have never felt so positive about my future.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for showing me that it was not just my imagination and it was in fact a definite science so that I can use The Secret again and again in the future and learn so much from it.

I have since bought The Secret DVD and can’t begin to describe the excitement, joy, and inspiration I feel every time I watch it, and have told my friends about it too!
