This happened when I attended an interview during my master degree days. I had 63% in my marks by the third semester. We were asked from college to attend an off campus interview. The criteria was
that the candidate should have 63% for their marks throughout. When I saw this job notification, I told myself, “This job is for me,” because earlier I have seen many MNCs looking for 65%, 70%, 80%, but this time it was exactly what I have – 63%!

All students from my batch hired a bus and reached the venue. In the bus, all our mates were having fun. I was just referring questions with other two friends of mine. Next day I cleared the written test and got selected for group discussion, which I also cleared. And then we got selected for final round interview. You know what? The three of us got the job. 🙂

Now I work in the same company, though the recession delayed our joining dates. I wanted to be in a nearer place to my home town. So I thought it would be good if I get in Kochi, a city in Kerala. That too manifested; in the call letter it was mentioned: “Posting will be in Kochi.”
