Los AngelesReaping the rewards of The Secret every single day I use it. Thankful for life, love, and happiness. Especially for my boyfriend Danny.
For a couple of months work was very slow at the Temp Agency, so I filed two applications for work. One was at TMMC, in March of 2008, and the other was at Del Amo Hosp, in April. I called both companies to follow up on my application, and to my dismay they were not hiring at the time. I was bummed.
My friend had given me the book The Secret, and I had placed it in the trunk of my car and forgotten I had left it there. I had just called the HR department for Del Amo Hospital, and for some reason I felt like I had to get something out of the trunk of my car… and there it was – The Secret book. I picked it up started to read the summary of the book and got hooked. I took it to my apartment and started reading chapter after chapter. It was amazing… I felt the weight of worry had just lifted off my shoulders.
I immediately went to my computer where I keep my organizer, and planned my work schedule. I truly believed that I would work between three to six days per week. I felt that it was possible, and then released, to let the Universe take action.
After a couple of days the Director of Nursing Recruitment called me up for an interview. I was astonished. Needless to say, the interview went well and I was working between two to four days a week as Per Diem nurse there. Every single day I worked I said, “Thank you… thank you for this wonderful job.”
While relaxing in the lounge, for some reason I looked up to the 5th floor of the building of TMMC, which was adjacent to Del Amo Hospital, and thought that it would be nice to work at TMMC. In a matter of a couple of minutes, the night shift manager who called me conducted a telephone interview and hired me on the spot. I was shocked. All I could think was thank you. Thank you for making my wish come true. Thank you for my future pay checks.
I am now working three to six days a week, and happy as a clam.
