Wish Bracelets

Santa Barbara, CAI’m writing this on behalf of my nine-year old daughter, Madison. She tells me what to say, and I will convey her experience on to you…
“My dad was reading a book a few months ago, called The Secret, and he would tell me and my sister (she’s five) all about it. He explained that we get to choose what we want in life, and he told us about how the Universe works, and that there’s this Law of Attraction, and a whole bunch more stuff.
It was kind of weird to hear this stuff and know if it was true or not, but he told us to give it a try. Sometimes it was hard to know the difference between wanting to believe something and really believing it. But, when I started thinking positively about things, good things would happen. When I didn’t get upset when something seemed to go wrong, somehow it would turn out right.
One day my sister earned a toy that my parents ordered for her. They told her it would take 4 to 6 weeks to arrive. About two weeks after they placed the order, my sister and I came home from school. My dad got the mail and put it on the table. My sister said, ‘Oh, I guess the Secret didn’t work, because all day at school I just knew my toy would come today, but it didn’t.’
My dad tried to explain that The Secret wasn’t magic and that even if you believe, things still need to be reasonable. That night, my mom came home from work and looked through the mail. There was a box addressed to her. In it, was my sister’s toy. The Secret worked!
Well, I’m writing this today because The Support Team at The Secret sent me a letter asking me to share another story with you. When I was seven, I started a business called Maddie’s Monkey Business. I borrowed $70 from my parents, bought the supplies and started designing picture frames and jewelry. Everyone thought that I was just a cute kid with a weekend idea, but I knew that I could really do this. Within a couple of months I’d paid my parents back, and was making a profit. It’s been two years and I’ve been able to invest my profits in the stock market, give to charities, save for college and pay myself.
After my dad told me about The Secret, I added a new line of jewelry to my products: Wish Bracelets. They are based on The Universal Law of Attraction. They come with a card that reads, ‘Bring Your Desires to Reality’ and ‘Ask & Believe & You shall Receive”.
I figured if The Secret was brought to my father, and he brought the message to me and my sister, I could bring it to more people through my business. The instructions direct the wearer to create a mental image of a wish or desire and to hold it in their head while they hold their bracelet, so that they connect that desire with the jewelry. Then, they wear the bracelet, tied on, until it falls off. Every time they look at the bracelet, fiddle with it, are asked about it, that will bring their desire right back to the front of their minds. And, by the time the bracelet falls off, they will be closer to, or have achieved, their dream.
I sent one to Rhonda, and The Team asked me to share this story. I am so excited to share these bracelets with the world (http://maddiesmonkeybusiness.com/wishes.php). I know they will make a difference in the lives of many, as The Secret has done for my family.
The bracelets have helped me understand the power of The Universe. They have helped the people who wear them, and because part of the money goes to pediatric cancer research, through Kidz for a Cure (KidzForACure.org), a charity I started last year, it’s helping sick kids.
The possibilities are endless! Thanks for sharing The Secret with my dad.”
