Winning The Passion Planner Of My Dreams.
Submitted by: Oneisha L.
San Diego, CASoon to be college graduate that is using The Secret to magically transform her life in preparation for the real world.
First, I would like to give thanks for the whole team of The Secret along with Rhonda Byrne for spreading the knowledge of the law of attraction.
This is the story of how I was able to win the planner of my dreams. For a while now, I have been a proud owner of this planner called “The Passion Planner” which combines your passions and dreams with your every day activities. The founder and CEO of the company is based locally in San Diego and I have been wanting to meet her for a while. Additionally, I highly admire their Instagram and the images they post and when I discovered that they had a limited edition Paradise Blue planner (the prettiest thing you’ve ever seen), I just knew I had to have it.
For the last couple of months, I have been entering their Instagram giveaways with no luck, but since I am a student at UCSD, the CEO has graciously donated many planners for free on campus. Time after time I have seen students get free planners at student run events but I have never been able to get my hands on one, until recently.
About a two weeks ago, there was an event called Triton Dance Marathon that was raising money for the Rady’s Children Hospital. By luck, I happened to be in the area for something else and thought that I should check it out. There were free planners at the event! This immediately made my night but it doesn’t stop there. There was also a raffle and they were giving out my dream planner. As soon as I saw the main prize, I said, “I am going to win.”
Well, unfortunately, I did not take home the planner but I did win the prize right after, a t-shirt and this was the first time I have won something! Usually I don’t consider myself a winner but I am changing my thoughts.
To myself, I kept thinking that it was fine that I did not win the grand prize because there would be more opportunities for me. A week later, I found out about an event that Passion Planner was hosting and I attended. They also gave out free planners to everyone attending and hosted a raffle at the end of the night. They gave out 4 Paradise Blue planners and the first 3, I did not win. At that point, I was certain that it was not meant to be but the last ticket was called and it was mine!
Not only did I get to win something that I have been desiring for so long but I also met the team members in charge of their Instagram/photography/video and more! The main social media person also turned out to be the CEO’s sister! I am so much closer to meeting my goal of actually meeting the CEO herself and I will be sure to write another story when I do.
