I was at a down point in my life (more down than usual). Hated my job, car kept breaking down, living with parents is not fun. I’ve also been after this girl for, at the time of this, about 1.75 years. She’s been dating this guy on and off for 5 years, and I can’t stand him. He takes advantage of her and doesn’t appreciate her.

When I first met her, her and him were just in the process of breaking up (for the 3rd time). She would go on and off about meeting up with me, then canceling on me. She’d tell me she was lonely, wanted me over, then would change her mind just as I was about to leave. Clearly I was being led on… but I was in love so I took it like a champ, hoping it would pay off.

Later the next year she had FINALLY met up with me…and apologized for how she treated me! I was amazed and shocked and thought things would only get better. They did… and didn’t.

Anyway, 1 year (and 1 break up) later I hit rock bottom and actually start looking online for any information that could help. I had even considered spells. But, after some research that all spells were pretty much scams, I found one that caught my eye that wasn’t really a spell, but more like something along the lines of using positive energy to “send love” to the other person and allow them to feel how you feel and fall in love with you. I figured it was a neat concept and I gave it a try… about a month later, she broke up with him again and asked me to hang out! I got excited, but my negativity started to take over shortly and sure enough she canceled our get together, and they were back together within a month.

One week I had a really bad headache and stayed inside for the week with the exception of work. I went online for a bit and came across The Secret. The Law of Attraction sounded familiar, and as I read up about it I thought, “This sounds kinda like what the “spell” I did was getting at”. I became interested and found a site that had the video for free, so I watched it. A little bit into it when I thought, “This sounds fun, let’s give this a try. I want this girl to contact me in – ” and I didn’t even finish the thought when I got a call from her.

My jaw dropped. HAD to be a coincidence. It was even weirder that not only did she call me which she never does, it was to see how I was feeling! She has NEVER done that to me! I was definitely intrigued.

The next day I went to the mall to putz around and I thought it would be fun to try this again. I went near a store a former friend shops at and thought, “Ok, I’m gonna run into her and she’s gonna tell me why she out-of-nowhere stopped talking to me.” I walk in, and who do I see. I was too creeped out to even approach her but she left the store before I could say anything.

After those 2 incidents I decided to go out and buy the DVD and the book. I watched the DVD several times, and even had it on while watching the book (not realizing that they’re almost identical). After which, I started thinking of what I wanted not only with her, but with everything!

Money is coming my way slowly but surely, whether it’s a huge sale I make, or an unexpected check. I asked the universe for us to be closer, and she moved 2 streets away from me and I’ve seen her more in the past month than I have since I’ve known her! It’s great, and I owe it all to the Secret.

I’m grateful for everything going on in my life and I’m working on changing what I don’t like instead of complaining about it. Soon I’ll have my car fixed up, the girl of my dreams (minus returning boyfriend), a nice job, and actually start to enjoy life!

I’ve always been a firm believer of “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” And the Secret is concrete proof of the validity of that statement.
