What If?

ConnecticutFree spirited and living life.
I’ve read my share of The Secret Stories that seemed a little too good to be true. Yet here I am with my own tale.
I’ve recently started a new career as a mail carrier and it’s been a long time coming. Some days your body and your mind are just ready to give out after a long shift is totaled. What I found myself doing on those days when I woke up feeling weak and sorry for myself was playing a game called “What if?”.
It started off as just a game that made me feel better but it just recently became very real. The way you play is simple. You think of a bunch of happy things that you wish would happen to you and add “what if ” in front of it. For example, what if I got free lunch today. Or what if I found 100 dollars. Then you simply allow yourself to go nuts with it until you’re flooding with happiness. Afterwards you let the ideas fade from your mind, release them.
Long story short, in one of my sessions I kinda half heartedly said “What if I got a random check from my old job”. With all seriousness, not even a week later I got an 800 dollar check from my old job for something I never even realized they owed me for. I was so shocked I almost crumbled to the floor. Try it!
