I struggled to be a registered nurse here in the Philippines. When I was in college, I failed an exam to be qualified to continue studying in my first nursing school. Disappointed with myself, I searched for another nursing school to continue studying. I believed there’s still hope and there’s a beautiful reason why it had happened to me.

In 2011, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. I was so grateful for it. I made my parents proud once again and I saw myself who is here on Earth for a wonderful purpose. There is another feat that I have to achieve and that is to pass the licensure exam. I prepared for it. At times, I got ridiculed for my strategies on studying by my own parents. I was compared to my cousins and my ways were just a waste of time according to them. Instead of believing them, I trusted myself.

I took the exam and waited for the results. Whenever people asked me if I think I passed, I answered with an enthusiastic affirmation. After two months of waiting, I was crying for the results.

I PASSED THE EXAM!

I also got a high rating. I kept on thanking God, everybody who had supported me, and myself.

A month ago, I watched The Secret and it made my heart happy. I was using The Secret all along without even knowing it. Watching it made me more aware of my emotions, of how I create my life. I really wanted to read the book so I sent out a loving frequency to the Universe to grant it.

Two weeks ago, I went to a friend’s home to have a vacation and as I was helping her clean the house, I saw a hardbound copy of The Secret. I was so happy I immediately thanked God and the Universe. The book made me know what I have been using for the longest time and that is the law of attraction.

Today, I walked to the park and I finally thought of the concept of my next book. It’s related to what I am compassionate about and that is helping everyone understand their health. Actually, I never had a book published but I believe that it will happen in its own pace. I know, this article is going to be published!
