After getting engaged 2 years ago, we decided that we were going to try for a baby, but after 12 months of trying and not succeeding, my other half got upset and we sort of stopped trying.

Over the last 8 months that I have been working away, every day I have been saying “Thank you for my new family”. When I woke up I would say it, and when I went to bed I would say it. Then I would take 5-10 minutes to visualize how my new family would look like.

About 3 weeks ago while away at work I woke up in the middle of the night, because I just had the clearest, most crisp dream of my fiancé having a large baby bump.

Last week she rang me frantic, saying were pregnant.
