Wedding in Whitehorse

Ontario, Canada36 Female from a small town in Northern, Ontario. Thank you Rhonda and thank you to all the readers.
The story started March 2004:
My family and I received an invitation for my cousin’s wedding in Whitehorse, Yukon. The date on the invitation was set for June. Our first thought, “We can’t afford it! What was he thinking when he invited us? I had just started working that March (I thought to myself, how am I going to save that kind of money; I only have three months?) I told my Dad I’m writing “no” on the RSVP. My Dad said, “Write yes instead of no.” Why? We can’t afford to go, I’ll just send him a gift. My Dad said again, Let’s write yes on the RSVP and we’ll see what happens come June. Okay, I agreed, and told him he was crazy.
Now things do fall into place when you have a little bit of faith. My Dad was the only one who had faith; he believed he was going there. At that time my parents and I knew we had a sum of money coming to us, but we didn’t know when. My Mom kept saying “Wouldn’t it be nice if we got that money just in time, so we can go to the wedding.” My Mom and I are afraid of flying, so my Dad said if we go we are going to drive. I’m like, you know how long it’s gonna take for us to get there? My Dad said, This will give us a chance to see Canada.
To make a long story short, our money did come in time and it wasn’t until five days before my parents were going to leave that I finally decided to go with them. My Dad’s brother came too, so it was the four of us. Out of everybody that my cousin invited from back home, we were the only ones who came. If we hadn’t gone, his parents, his three sisters, two nieces, and one nephew, would have been his only family there. The rest of the people were his new friends and his wife’s family. I will always be grateful; that whole trip was a beautiful experience, one I’ll never forget.
Point to the story: We wrote yes on that RSVP which helped manifest. My Dad had faith and he believed he was going, no matter what. That money came in time for us. I think about it now, and had we wrote no, I don’t think we would have went. That was six years ago. I just read this book a year ago. I had no idea I used The Secret. Since then, I’ve been manifesting small things. I believe I can achieve bigger things. I will keep in touch with more stories. Thank you for reading.
