We Have It All
Submitted by: Raven H.
Mesa AZI am a happily married woman, originally from Louisiana.
When I was younger and growing into a young adult, I was a very pessimistic and negative person.
Then I met my future husband in 2003. He was so opposite and patient, opening my eyes to reality. He made me a better human being. But it did not stop there.
In 2011, I reconnected with an old friend and met a new one through her. She was very different, to say the least, however, I was raised not to judge. I am a firm believer of God and everything happens for a reason. With that said, this new friend introduced me to The Secret. This was the reason she was introduced into my life.
I watched the video and was intrigued when my husband came home and explained to me that this is what he has been trying to tell me about all the years we have been together.
I bought all the books as they came out, and also implemented many of their practices. Since 2011 I am very thankful and excited to say we have had many blessings since, and they keep coming.
It began with me concentrating on getting to work on time. I focused on an easy car ride. I did this several times to prove my point. And it worked! Every single time, it felt like traffic eased up, every single day.
Soon after, my husband and I began making lists of our dreams and what we wanted. Anytime there was a chance we could give back, we did. Even if it was the Salvation Army, or donations to the Boy and Girl Scouts. Money to assist with natural disasters, even if it was a few dollars. Letting a stranger go in front of me in a grocery line when they only had a few things and I had a basket full. Letting a car go first in a turn on the street. Smiling at a person who looked like they were having a rough day. It’s amazing what just a smile can do, or telling someone “Thank you so much”.
Over the last few years, I found the perfect job. We have moved in another state near my only sibling and her children. It just so happens my husband’s eldest brother now lives 6 hours away, instead of across the country. We love it here. One of the best decisions.
My job in LA let me move and keep my position where I can work from home. It’s awesome! Then, I was promoted to a management position and still working remotely in Arizona for the home office in LA! Loving it! Within months, my husband was promoted, again, the money, the health, our wishes coming true, over and over again.
We continue to be thankful every day. We are finally at a position to give more back. The more we give and are thankful for what we have, and the feeling of happiness when we do give, the more our dreams come true.
My husband is now getting his plans ready to start his own business he has been thinking of for about 15 years. We are also making vision boards of our dream homes. One in Arizona, one in Savannah, GA on the beach, one a few hours up north where it snows in AZ.
We currently have an amazing 2 story, beautiful home to raise our family in, surrounded by beautiful mountains and weather.
I am currently arranging to help with multiple charity work.
One last dream, is to have a child. We have been unsuccessful over the last 4 years. However, I believe God and the universe wanted us in Arizona first. Now that we have found answers from our incredible physician, we are positive we will be finding out we are expecting soon.
There is so much more that has happened that I would love to share. I will be more than happy to discuss more of my blessings to anyone, and how they came to be.
We are so very thankful and very happy. You only have one life to live. Live it, love it. Do not settle. You and everyone deserve to be happy, loved, successful, healthy and wealthy.
God bless. Wishing everyone many blessings.
