I work on a ship. Last April, my contract was nearly over, I received the news that due to a volcano ash cloud all flights are cancelled.
After 5 month on board I was counting every day to go home to Germany. My cousin was getting married, I wanted to be there, and it meant so much to me.

Everyday day I got to hear more bad news about the situation ashore. All airports in Europe were closed, and millions of people were waiting. Trains and busses were overloaded with people. All rental cars where sold out. It seemed hopeless. My Company advised me to stay onboard, since they are only able to get me a ticket from Madeira to Lisbon. But then I would miss the wedding.

I didn’t know what to do. I still remember how nervous I was. But I have read The Secret. So I just decided and told them: With all my trust in God I will make it home. Let me go off the boat.
They kept informing me about the situation, how hopeless it was, even if the airport will open their are millions of other people waiting before me in line, but I had made my decision.

Already by the time I got to the airport of Madeira, I got doubts. Chaos. But I could take my flight. Once I arrived in Lisbon, I really could see how bad the situation was. Millions of people waiting, families running out of money. There was no chance. So I went to the train station. There it was even worst. No Train, no bus, no taxi, no car, people standing a day in line. I already regretted leaving the ship. I went back to the airport. I didn’t know what to do. I really didn’t know what to do. But then, I remembered my Secret. So I just declared that “I will be home on time”, started to stand in line for Lufthansa, and took The Secret book to read.
And what happened after was just magic. A man behind me yelled at me: “Don’t you hear, they are sending a bus to Germany.” I said “Thank you, you are an angel.” I was so lucky they had space for me. Two hours later I was on the bus to Germany. I had a long ride in front of me. But I didn’t care. I would be on time.

I’m so grateful for experiencing The Secret. I works. I know I made it home only in time because of The Secret. My message should be: Their is no such thing as no way out. God/Universe/Secret, they know the way. You just need to trust.
