Job And School In Foreign Country

Nairobi, KenyaAm 25, living and working in Nairobi Kenya.
I read the Secret while in Campus a couple of years back and it clicked. It seemed like it was common sense. But how come I’d never realised this? At 22 I started working at a prestigious school here in the country as an intern for no pay for a term (3 months.) Every day as I walked the halls of the school I would tell God to bless me where I was. Saying ‘I know like I know that at the beginning of the next academic year I would get a job there!’
The moment I got doubts, I would repeat the phrase, ‘Thank you for my new job, thank you for my job!’ Even at night! I never looked at the fact that I was an inexperienced intern at an international school! I submitted my documents and waited. One day I saw a new teacher being shown around the school and realized she must have filled the advertised vacancy. Despite that I still believed and over the summer holiday I was called in for an interview. Apparently a teacher had suddenly quit and I was called in for an interview to fill the position!
I realised I must have thought my way into that job. There was no other way around it. Everyone thought I was lucky but I knew luck had nothing to do with it! it was all MIND POWER!
After 3 years working there, I am looking to start school Masters in September. In a foreign country, at super expensive fees that I don’t have, and living cost money that I don’t have:-)
Smiley face because despite the above ‘hurdles’ I know like I know like I know I will be flying out of the country to this country I have always wanted to visit, study there, travel and see a bit of the world! Maybe fall in love.
Thank you ‘The Secret’ I am living my best life!!
