I first came across with The Secret by a friend of mine who talked and talked about the documentary so I searched for it and watched it! Twice! It made so much sense to me at that time and I decided to give it a try.

From one of the testimonies in the documentary somebody talked about how he used vision boards as an aid to visualize and declare what he was asking for. So I decided to do my little vision board and place it on the corkboard of my office and every morning I came in I looked at it and imagined if I had everything that was in the pictures and felt the excitement fill me up. I looked for pictures of things I wanted a new car, an airplane (meaning I wanted to travel), a great relationship so I looked for a picture of a couple having fun, etc.

Within a month my supervisor was talking about reclassifying my position to add more duties and possibly get a raise. Then two months in I met this amazing guy who is now my boyfriend and he is amazing with me. If I would describe the perfect boyfriend it would be him! Three months in I got approved for a loan to get a new car. Currently I have my new 2015 dream car with all the luxury add ons and everything I wanted.

I have other things on my list and I’m really motivated to continue with the faith I have for the vision boards! In fact I want to do a new one.

Please don’t get discourage at any point using The Secret! Make your boards with love and put time into them, and ask for everything you want. I can assure you it will come your way!
