Thank you, Universe!

This year my work visa was up for renewal and I had been confident at the time of filing that the visa extension approval would be smooth. Much to my surprise and dismay, I was asked to submit additional documentation! We gathered and submitted all the documents requested, many thanks to everyone that helped me with this process.

The anxious wait commenced which left me checking my inbox and the case status every few minutes. My husband and I were understandably very anxious about the outcome, as my job was riding on this. Our whole life in this country would be disrupted if the visa was not approved. I’d have to go back to my home country while my husband remained here and we had recently bought a house. So many things would be affected.

In desperation, I came to this website and one of the stories here had a profound impact on me. I am so grateful that I stumbled upon that it! The essence was this:

Keep visualizing the outcome you want because at the very least this vision can keep you happy until you are faced with the actual result that could go either way.

I told myself that I have nothing to lose and everything to gain by remaining focused on the outcome that I desired.

I tried everything I could think of doing. Read all the stories on this website that helped me stay positive, I practiced gratitude, prayer, affirmations, visualization, talked to a kind soul who motivated me and helped me visualize the final outcome of my visa extension being approved. I also stopped checking my inbox constantly for updates and I finally let it go.

I am happy to announce that my visa extension has been approved today and I’m here to stay!

Side note; I also won something expensive at a holiday party a few days ago and this has never happened to me before! Thank you, Universe!
