I was under a lot of pressure this summer because I had started a new job that was not paying as much as my last job, because it was part time. But I said to myself, ‘I am in school studying to become a nurse… so part time works best for now.’ In the mean time bills are growing, including my daughter’s tuition.
September 3 came and she could not return to school until her tuition was paid. Every day I would drive to work, to school, and back home listening to The Secret. It kept me encouraged and focused. Her tuition was $3,139. I paid $600 on September 16, which left me $2553. On September 19 I called the Archdiocese, the councilman, the senate office, and back to the Archdiocese. At first he said he could do nothing for me, but after I made all of my calls and kept my faith he returned my call and said pay the $500 and we will pay the rest. I said, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
So on September 22 she can return to school. I held on to my unwavering faith. They all tried to tell me, ‘No we can’t help you, send her to public school.’ I would not listen. I focused on what I wanted. And received results.
