I wanted to share this story to hopefully inspire someone as I am always inspired by the many stories I read on here. This is a simple story to remind you not to get caught up in the “how” and that the Universe always knows the best, most perfect way to get you to your desire, as long as you only focus on the end result.

Every year in London there is a place called Sommerset house which holds an outdoor film/cinema screening festival. There was a film coming out that my boyfriend really wanted to see and it was premiering at Sommerset house. As it was around the time of his birthday I knew this would be the perfect present. I went online to buy tickets but they were completely sold out!

A short while later I saw a competition on TV to win tickets to the premiere of that film at Sommerset house as well as a night stay in a 5 star hotel with a three course meal. I entered the competition and made a vision board of what I wanted. I included pictures of luxurious hotel rooms and drew a sketch of us in front of a big screen watching the film. I visualised us watching the film being really happy and enjoying our time at the hotel eating a delicious meal.

I did not win the competition. I was a little disappointed but I still knew we would see the film at some point. I managed to get tickets to another film screening which was even better as it included an hour long live Q&A with the film maker after. We also came into a bit of unexpected cash and found a great last minute deal at a 5 star hotel with a three course meal!

Everything I had put on my vision board and visualised actually manifested!

For me, the most significant thing in this experience is that the day of the premiere at Sommerset house, which is an outdoor open air cinema, it absolutely poured down with rain. I remember realising on the day of the screening why I had not gone to Sommerset house and feeling extremely grateful and thanking the Universe. My ultimate desire which was to see that film and go to the hotel, came true. I always believed we would and never doubted that. The key is you cannot try to force or manipulate how it will come to you. Just focus only on the end result and it will be yours.
