This is my story about how I came to have faith in The Secret and the Universe. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I come from a family who always had financial issues although we were never left wanting for anything. We always had to hear about how there was never enough money and there were often arguments between my parents as a result. I knew it was not the life I wanted to have later on. From a young age I always had a vision of what my life would be like and I would spend hours imagining and feeling how amazing it would be. I think it was a way of taking my mind off all the negative feelings at home. Unknown by me, I was practicing the law of attraction.

I wanted to be a professional, be financially independent, travel the world and be married to a well educated, loving, responsible man. All of those wishes came to me easily and effortlessly and at the perfect time.

After our wedding we moved into a 2 bed flat but it was always my dream to live in a big palatial home. After 8 years we decided to start looking for a bigger house. I was determined to find my dream home but with each passing month it just seemed to get further and further away. The houses we looked at needed a lot of work and attention and anything I found to be close to my dream home was way too high out of our budget. I did not want to be in a situation where I lived in a “dream” house but had to suffer financially because of it. After months of looking, I finally found something that I totally loved even though it was not really as big as I would have liked and it also came with a hefty price tag. We decided to put in an offer and I thought that this marked the end of almost a year of house hunting. Our offer was not accepted by the buyer and I was totally devastated. I could not bear the thought of going through the process again and I resigned myself to living in our flat for years to come. I was well and truly fed up with not being able to find my dream home and so I just decided to give up and forget about it. In actual fact, I was letting go of the whole process and choosing not to let it bother me.

A few months later I decided to look on the property website at houses in our desired area. The very first house that came up caught my attention immediately. My husband and I went to view it the very same afternoon. It was way beyond my expectations and even better than any house we had viewed previously. I can only describe it as a mansion that I, myself, could never have even imagined owning. Everything was perfect! Not even a touch of paint was needed. All we had to do was move in. And what was even better was that it was exactly what we could comfortably afford. We put in an offer on the same day and the deal was finalised. Receiving the keys to my dream home is an experience I relive over and over again.

But that is not even the most amazing part! My house is a few doors away from the college that I used to attend many years ago. Every day I would pass this house on the way to classes. I would look at it and think to myself how lucky the people who live in it are to own such a magnificent home. I had no idea that one day that very same home would be mine! The reason all those other houses did not work out is because my perfect home was already on its way to me.

I have since read The Secret and realised that I have manifested many things, both positive and negative, both big and small. Living The Secret fully is still a work in progress for me. Every time I feel down, I walk through my beautiful home, I see my luxury car parked in the garage, I think about the amazing senior position I have at a huge multinational company and I think about the magnificent man that I am married to. Then I remember that if you can imagine it and feel it, you can have it. I am ever so grateful to God and the Universe for my beautiful, perfect life. I look forward to the rest of my life as I know that anything more that I want is already on its way to me.
