Unexpectedly living The Secret
Submitted by: Velencia V
South-Africa, Free StateSingle mother, living together with my boyfriend. 24 years old.
I live in a tiny town in South Africa. I was introduced to The Secret through my boyfriend who heard a story of The Secret. I then started looking it up and have borrowed the DVD from his parents. Unfortunately the DVD is scratched and I could only watch the first half an hour of the DVD, but what I have seen and what my boyfriend told me back then, is amazing, and unknowingly I have applied The Secret to my life.
At the beginning of this year I was unemployed. By the way I am a single mother, living off my boyfriends’ salary. He already has his own bills and things to take account of and we barely made it through. All I continued saying to myself was that I would find a job and that things will get better, but unfortunately one job interview after another I just didn’t seem to make the cut. When I applied for the last one I just said to myself as I walked towards my interview that whether I get it or not, everything will be OK. When the interview was done I felt positive knowing that this time the job is mine.
I went home to do my daily chores and praying and believing this job is mine. That evening I got a phone call from my father that the lady at the job I applied to was looking for me. My cellphone number that was given to her was wrong, but I phoned her right away. She asked me right there and then if I could start the following morning. I was in awe and in tears at the same time. I have a great job, the best one that I have ever had. Not to mention the salary.
All that I am trying to say here is that The Secret existed inside me all along, I just needed to activate it. Now that I know some of The Secret I can improve more aspects of my life. I just need to get hold of a DVD that isn’t scratched. Thank you Rhonda and The Secret Team.
I also started to believe that financial freedom is in my horizon, and I have started to receive money, or actually not pay or pay less for things.
