Two babies

Southern OregonI am discovering and rediscovering things all the time. I am 21 and grew up in Southern Oregon.
I really like sharing my Secret experiences. Its hard to know where to begin. I think I should go way back this time, to my first known Secret experience. When I was a little boy, about 4 years old, my mom was pregnant. The doctors said she was going to have a girl. At some point in time I kept asking my mom about the two babies. She kept reminding me that shes only having one. So finally when the day was near my mom was having an ultrasound and to their surprise it was double trouble, she was having twins. My mom was shocked because I had been telling her the whole time she was going to have two babies. She told me she was having twins and realized I didn’t know what that word meant so she said, Andy, were having two babies, and I was playing with my car and responded with, “I told you. Thats my first Secret experience that I am aware of.
After that I was “special”. They told me about this many times but I didn’t know what to do about it because I couldn’t predict the future, I didn’t have any special powers.
But years later I started experiencing things again. I was about 14 and I remember noticing “little” things like “coincidences”. I told my mom about it and she told me that she sometimes experienced those things, and that so did my Grandma and my Great Grandma. So I talked to my Grandma about these little things that seemed to be insignificant. She told me the fact that I noticed it out of all the moments in the day makes it SIGNIFICANT.
After that I tried to notice all the little things and found that the more I noticed, the more I NOTICED. And the easier it was to see the big things. This leads me to a part in my life where I was working at the retirement home. I started to realize there was a lot to this. It all intertwined, but I had not seen The Secret yet. So, at the retirement home all the elderly people have a specific ice cream they want. Every day I would count out cups for vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, diabetic etc. I tried to have my system down by knowing how many of each to scoop, but every day I was running back and fourth pleasing everybody, scooping more ice cream. So it hit me one day, when youre a kid everyone tells you go by your first INSTINCT. I thought for a moment, when did I ever go by my first instinct?
So today I was going to try. I had to scoop ice creams and I thought, today instead of counting the cups for each flavour, Im going to grab an approximate stack. By some divine intervention or something everybody had their ice cream and I didnt have to scoop a single extra dessert. I couldn’t believe it. I always scoop extra and it consumes most the evening.
I started using my first instinct everywhere. I found a real life situation that I used as a metaphor. When driving I would use my first instinct. I felt I was to change lanes so I did. I wondered if I made the right decision because my lane was now backed up. I waited and sure enough my lane opened up and I was way ahead of the other lane.
So when things dont look like they’re going to work out in your favor, trust your first instinct and you will see the lanes clear up for you. Something as serious as being behind the wheel of a hunk of steel flying at speeds of 65, even 25 mph shouldnt be taken lightly. So use your instinct. I also thought there is a ripple effect and a purpose. If you have “speed bumps” in your life and you think you should be getting there faster, slow down and pay attention. Maybe its so you will avoid an accident or you meet a special person.
We all have choices. You can be nice and let somebody by, and that may make their day, or you can cut them off, causing them to be angry and later down the road when youre not around, who knows what will happen. They may make somebody else mad and cause an accident. So every single little choice makes a difference, whether or not you squish the bug or pick up that candy wrapper. Think of the ripple effect.
Well, I could go on and on and I already have. I have lots more Secret stories, so if you have any questions or comments or any similar Secret experiences please share them with me at greysqearl@yahoo.com. Here are some other interesting documentaries you should check out:
