I’m an eighteen-year old university student studying civil engineering abroad. I read The Secret at a pretty young age… I must have been about 15 or so, and when I first read it I marveled that it was possible that there really was a secret to life. Naturally, some part of me always questioned the “how”. Nevertheless, I achieved many great things in my childhood by manifesting The Secret.

The unfortunate thing is that whenever something negative would happen I would start to read too much into the situation and think that maybe it’s all not true at all.

However, over the last few hours something has happened. I suffer from scalp psoriasis and have been prone to breakouts in the past. As fate would have it, I am currently undergoing one of the most severe outbreaks I have ever had. I went to hospital this morning and the whole time had this awful feeling about my disease. At one point I broke down in the presence of my GP who was very supportive about the situation and assured me not to worry. So… what happened between now and then? Well, afterwards I came home and started surfing online and found quite a few interesting pages and for some reason (attraction, of course!) I found myself on thesecret.tv. I’ve been reading health success stories for the last few hours (at one point, I felt so uplifted and inspired by all of your courage that I lost track of time). All of a sudden I feel hopeful and thankful and awesome and great, even if these feelings have not yet manifested themselves physically. I know it will only be a matter of time. I have felt my frame of mind significantly shift from feeling bad and sorry for myself to being grateful for what I have and loving those around me violently, and just generally feeling GOOD about myself. I never thought I would say this, but I feel great!! 🙂 🙂

So the message behind this is mainly to say a big thank you to everyone who has taken the time to submit a success stories and share your inspiration with others who very much appreciate it. Also, a big thank you to Rhonda and the team for sharing The Secret with us!

I trust that my situation will improve very soon and am looking forward to writing another post in a few days describing my very own success story about my clear, beautiful, healthy scalp.
