I had appeared for an exam which is considered to be one of the toughest exams in the country. In the two months before the result, I tried to visualize, feel good and apply the teachings in The Secret. Here is the problem – I only tried without giving it my all. I was too laid-back and allowed doubt to creep in and didn’t do anything to counter them. And of course I received a negative result. I was devastated.

As I was weeping in my room, suddenly a dialogue from The Secret movie popped into my head – “People say ‘I watched this programme and I am gonna change my life’. But when you look at their actions, they are not doing the things that is going to make that happen. And then say this stuff doesn’t work’. Guess what the Genie says, ‘Your wish is my command'”. I decided then and there to take ACTION. I submitted my papers for revaluation even though it is almost considered a futile exercise. I took print-outs of the marksheet that contained my perfect result. I looked at it with FEELINGS of pure joy. I drafted this story in advance. And here is the most important thing I did – I became very positive and joyful to everyone. Whenever somebody asked me about my result, I just told them that this was a great opportunity for me to learn. I did everything I could to stay happy. I listened to music that made me feel good, I LEFT NO STONE UNTURNED in making sure that I believed and FELT that I would pass.

I received my revised result and I have passed! What I wish to convey through my story is this – APPLY the principles. DO THEM. And the most important thing is FEELING GOOD. This is the golden rule. Do everything you can to feel good. It’s never too late to change any situation because the law is perfect and doesn’t know anything as possible or impossible.
