It was about 5 years ago I first watched The Secret. After a while I took my vision board down, don’t know why, think I wasn’t really understanding it to be honest. Even though things did happen, I didn’t use any gratitude. Overtime less and less was coming in, not just money, but happiness too and health. I carried on as normal, going to work coming home doing the usual domestic chores and looking after the children.

Over the years I felt something was missing. I knew I wasn’t in the right job, but for the life of me I couldn’t seem to think what I loved doing. I felt stuck in a rut! My mind was so confused. I was always angry and frustrated, not with anyone else but with me. I started feeling rejected by my friends and my family, only focusing on the bad things that had happened in the past. I blamed my past for why I was this way. One word that would sum me up was

Six weeks ago my car broke down. I couldn’t work, or do the things I took for granted, such as the weekly shop.It seemed to take forever to get fixed. No one wanted to mend our car, our mechanic wouldnt return our calls either. Two weeks into waiting for the car to be fixed, I went to see a close friend of mine, who I hadn’t seen in a long time. She said you need to do The Secret again, seeing how low I was. So that night I did. OMG!!!! Then I bought The Power, which was the only one left in the shop. One week later I bought The Magic.

My life has turned around. My car was fixed within a week, my friends are back in my life, me and my husband have never been so happy, my friends have even commented on how I look, they say I have a glow.

I’m on day 18 of The Magic, but a couple of days ago I started to doubt myself again, so this morning when I woke, I gave my heart felt thanks to everything, saying thank you as I walked and got dressed, making the breakfast. After breakfast I focused on my work for today. I gave thanks for the Magnificent outcome of my job today. Then I imagined that my clients had told me they were going on holiday next week, and they had left me two weeks wages for me.

Well I left for work, I felt truly happy. All the roads were clear, and instead of taking 40mins to get to my job it took 10. I knew then that The Magic was working. When I arrived, my client was already outside, so we had our usual chit chat, then as he was leaving, he said oh by the way, we are on holiday next week so we have left two
weeks money out for you. I had goosebumps everywhere. I said thank you, and truly realised that gratitude works.

I’m so happy and I’ve turned my negative thinking in to positive thoughts. I’m so blessed with everything I’ve been given in my life. I will always show love and be greatful for eternity.
