So, I’ve been a Secret practitioner for six months now, and with amazing results! I have been able to successfully manifest in my life everything I wished for, right from novels, music, clothes, shoes, perfumes, and watches to more serious stuff like acing my college, my dream summer job, money, a calmer, more positive temperament and improved health.

I’m about to tell you how I did it, where I went wrong, and how you can speed up the process. 😉

1) You gotta be pretty specific:

Adjectives such as, ‘good’, ‘awesome’, etc., do not really work. You have to be clear in your head about what you desire. I sent out a request to the universe for a ‘good perfume’. Sure enough, in a few days a friend gifted me a perfume for my birthday. But it wasn’t how I had really, in my heart, hoped for. That happened because I dared not hope for something expensive or branded. So, I put out another wish for a branded perfume. In just a few weeks, some relatives came visiting from London and gifted me a bottle of Green Tea scent from the Elizabeth Arden line. How cool is THAT! I was like, “Whoa!” 🙂

Bottomline: Be specific and dare to dream, because nothing is too expensive or out of reach for The Universe. It’s all there, waiting for YOU!

2) A vision board *really* helps:

I wasn’t always a vision board user. But trust me, things are much clearer after you have an image to define it. The receiving process speeds up because you physically surround yourself with those images of what you want. Rather than having those images in your head and holding on to them, it is easier and better to stick them up on your closet or fridge. So, I cut out from magazines everything I like and wish for and bingo, I get those things.

3) Inspired action:

After all, everything is not going to fall into your lap. If you have that nagging feeling within you, take that path. And pray and ask for the Universe to guide you with signs and omens. Your attention will be magically drawn to what will benefit you in innumerable ways. I was once walking down the street and my eyes were just drawn to this book-seller on the road. I browsed through his collection and got 5 books at just 100 bucks. In my city, it is next to impossible to get a book below 60 bucks and here I was, being offered 5 for 100 bucks.

P.S: I had wished for new books just 2 days prior to this!

Apart from reading and watching The Secret, I have also read and understood The Power of the Subconscious Mind by Dr. Joseph Murphy, Beyond the Secret by Brenda Barnaby, and Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill. I strongly recommend those for deeper knowledge of The Secret. Also, I’m sure most of you have subscribed to The Secret Scrolls. On that note, I would also advise you to log on to www.tut.com. It’s Mike Dooley’s program. Free account, they send you customised 2-liners every day titled Note From The Universe. Very inspirational and very much fun. Try it 😉

My current wish list is something like this:
A Sony Waio laptop (have entered a contest to win it).
Getting maximum stories published for the newspaper I am interning at.
A new house for me and my family.

And remember, ANYTHING is possible. Currently, I have 8500 bucks as savings even though I’m still in college and not working. The money is gifted to me by various sources in various amounts. 🙂
