This is the first time I am posting on The Secret website so I would wish to narrate my first encounter with it. This incident took place around 6 years back when I was giving my TYBSc exams. Although I had read quite a bit, my mind went completely blank for a certain paper and I wrote whatever I could recollect. It was not sufficient to pass the exam. Previously I had applied the principles of The Secret to get into an exchange program to France, without having any knowledge of this book. I was going to France in July and the University results were due in June. I wanted to travel to France without any problem gnawing at me.

After the exam, I came home all flustered since I felt I was going to fail. I wanted to calm down and think clearly. So I decided to read a book. When I opened the bookshelf, I saw The Secret in front of me. My mother had bought it a few months ago but neither of us had paid any attention to it. I decided to see what it was all about. I started reading it and read the section on vision boards. That was what I wanted! Quickly I drew a marksheet with my name and the name of the University mentioned on it and wrote “Marks: 70%” on it. I felt relieved and soon I forgot about it.

When my results were declared, I had passed with 63% which was less than what I asked for. However it turned out the University had failed to add marks to the mark sheets of many of the students. When those extra marks were added I ended up getting 71% in TYBSc! It was unbelievable!

There are many other occasions where The Secret has helped me which I will elaborate on later. But firstly I would like to thank Rhonda Byrne and all the writers who reminded us of our age old philosophy. I would also like to thank all the people who have shared their stories here. They inspire me and motivate me throughout the day. Remember to always dream big, for big things are waiting for you.
