Time is of the essence

The first time I opened the pages of The Secret was last summer on a plane returning from disappointment. I was even surprised I read, “even the book you need would be attracted to you”. What also caught my attention was the references to the Bible. Here was a guide that helped with the real life application of the Word I already knew.
I’m not going to lie and tell you that it was easy at first, but daily my sister and I would correct each other’s negative thoughts and words and exchange all negations for positive and uplifting ones. When we hit a rough patch, we’d talk it out and ask the question “What does this mean? And how does the Secret apply to this situation?” Eventually, it worked itself out.
Well, I spent the latter part of last year as an unemployed, struggling student with no way out, and then something just clicked and mid-January I started a new job, which I LOVE! I started packing and preparing to buy a home (even though I had no clue how I was going to do it). I simply spoke the words, believed, and exactly 1 month later I closed on my first home. Now, I still have a few goals left, but at this rate, I’m pretty positive that with God’s blessing and implementation of the Secret, there’s no doubt that they’ll manifest before the year closes. Time is an illusion!
