Ticket Of Wonder
I wanted so much to watch The Phantom of the Opera. I actually saw it on Broadway twelve years ago but since it is my favorite musical play, I couldn’t help but wish to see it again, especially since it was being shown in the Philippines for the first time.
The problem was I didn’t have extra funds that time due to a number of unexpected expenses.
With the hope of being able to fulfill my dream without draining my pockets, I sent a wish to the Universe using what I learned from The Secret. I got an old ticket, wrote the name of the musical, date, time, and seat number and imagined myself watching it. I kept the ticket in my wallet and looked at it every now and then to remind me of my “appointment”.
I did not know how it would materialize but I had confidence that it would happen.
Three months later, I received a call from my best friend telling me that she will be given premium tickets to Phantom and she wanted me to join her!
While I didn’t get the exact details that I put in my make-believe ticket, but having been able to watch Phantom for free a week after my desired date and getting premium seats at that, is more than I can ask for.
