Three Wishes All Granted.

BruneiInspired by the Sir Richard Branson story, I am not one to settle down in a comfy job. I aim to make a living by doing profitable businesses.
My story started when I had finished college. I was into the third month of working a meager $350 per month decent job, when a friend of mine introduced me to The Secret.
I had always dreamed of being an actor. So I made my first wish to myself that I will become one. I said to myself “I don’t know how, when, where, what, why or who will give me a chance to be one, but I will be one very soon.”. Not long after that, I bumped into an old friend of mine who was working his way up as a filmmaker and he asked me to be part of his little project and eventually, he made me one of his actors.
The second wish was when I felt I needed a change in my career. So I made myself a second wish and that was to work as a journalist. I told myself “I don’t know how, when, where, what, why or who will hire me as a reporter, but I will be one very soon.”. Not long after that I saw an ad for a reporter’s job. I applied for it and got paid more than what my previous job paid me.
And after a few years of working as a reporter, I then again made a third wish. I wanted to challenge myself by holding a big responsibility in a managerial position. Lo and behold, while I was working for a story about a shopping mall in my town, the management there was looking for someone to take up a manager’s position handling marketing and events. So I took up that opportunity and inquired about it. I applied for the vacant post and got hired and got paid more than what I was paid as a journalist. And you guessed it right! All I had to do was tell myself “I don’t know how, when, where, what, why or who will hire me as a manager, but I will be one very soon.”. And now I am one!
