This stuff does work!
I never thought I’d share any story on this website until today. I have watched the movie, The Secret a few months ago, and like some of my friends who have seen it before, I was a little bit skeptical, however, I decided I’d give it a try. I was so inspired by the idea of the “vision boards” in the movie. I do believe in the power of visualizing. I never, though, gave myself the time throughout my days to take a break and just visualize myself doing all the things I love.
After watching the movie, I bought a few cork boards, some pins, and started a collage mania, just printing out all the things I could ever wish for, from countries to go to, to stuff I’d like to own someday, to some role models..etc.. I hung these boards next to my bed so that every morning when I would wake up, before getting out of bed, I’d just look at each and every picture and remind myself that this is what I should be working for and thinking about, and I would also visualize that I already have acquired all these desirable experiences or things.
For some time, nothing too exciting happened, but I never gave up though on the idea, because I just started to love waking up to these boards anyway.
Today, I had to go with my parents on some unplanned holiday trip. I wasn’t really in the mood to go, but I had to. Now one of those things I had pinned on one of my boards was to ride a jet ski. I always wanted to get to ride one some day, and as the universe would say, ” your wish is my command”. It happened! Today, I did finally get my jet ski ride! I never planned or thought about how or where or when I was going to try out riding a jet ski, I just wished for it and added it to my vision board. And there, I got it after a few months of visualizing. It is true how the universe replies back to you saying ” your wish is my command”
For anyone else, that jet ski ride maybe doesn’t seem like a big deal, but for me, you won’t believe the joy I got from just having one of my wishes granted through The Secret and the law of attraction. It totally boosted my mood for the rest of the day and it gave me more faith concerning the power of visualizing and my vision boards.
NEVER GIVE UP on the power of visualizing. It may take a while until you get what you want, so hang in there. Plus all that visualizing is lots of fun anyway, so stop reading this story, get out there, buy some cork boards, and seriously try it out!
