3rd August 2007, my life took a turn for the better. Two weeks prior I stumbled upon a well known magazine and flipped through it, and there it was – a piece about Rhonda Byrne appearing on ‘Oprah’. Bought The Secret & boarded my plane on route to Perth, Australia via Bangkok.

‘The law of attraction’, but how could it be? October 2006, I had casually declared, ‘2007 I’m going to Australia!’ Did I attract Australia, subconsciously?

I could describe reading The Secret as a major breakthrough in my life. I finished reading the book in record time. From then on I started to write lists of everybody/thing that I was grateful for (the list went on and on). I started to say ‘thank you’ whenever something positive happened! I woke up every day with specific aims for the day, ticking each one off with a sigh and a ‘thank you.’

I’ve been single since I was 21 (I’m almost 30 now)! I started to declare to the universe (loud & proud) what I wanted from a partner. I declared more travels – this year alone I’ve been on 5 holidays, during which I met a lovely guy. Although he lives in Eastern Europe, I’m sure the universe will find a way for us to be together.

I guess what I’m trying to say is; hopes & dreams can/will shine through the thickest of clouds. Gone are my desires for fast cars, big homes, celebrity lifestyles. These have been replace by true friendships.

Rhonda, ‘thank you’ is an understatement for the gratitude that I feel towards you… May people continue to discover your book and read manifestations like mine to discover ‘it really is never too late’.
