I have been using the Law of Attraction (LOA) even before I knew of The Secret. I must admit that I’m not an expert when it comes to attracting good things in life, especially when it comes to my career. Another thing is, honestly, it’s really quite difficult to instantly transform yourself from feeling completely negative to being energetically positive.

I’m already in my mid-30’s and loving every minute of it. Why? Because of the wonderful comments I’m hearing from people all around me – friends, family, and even total strangers. I’m not an avid fan of using anti-aging creams cause I get headaches every time I attempt to use any product like that, and besides, it’s quite expensive. So what I did was I tried applying the principles of The Secret. At first, the truth didn’t resonate from within me because the ego was blocking my path. I kept on with it for about a month until it became a solid belief that truly resonated within my very core, into every cell of my body. I always say to myself that I will always look 22 years old no matter what. I know it may sound so stupid since I’m definitely 13 years older than that….hehehe…but I never hide my age from anyone. So whenever they ask about my age, they always gasp! The usual line would be….”I don’t believe you Shane, you’re way too young-looking!” Or ” You’re not 35 years old, you’re just 27 years old.”

Ok, ok…. I may not look 22 years old most of the time, but I’m still within the bracket of the 20-something generation, and that’s flattering enough for me.

Another thing which helps me achieve this truth is finding reasons for me to smile or laugh every single day. As they say, laughter is the best Botox! And I do love smiling a lot.

Lastly, 5 days ago, I consciously put The Secret to the test again by asking the universe to give me P10,000 the following week. Honestly, I was not expecting any form of payment coming to me the following week, but voila! Just 3 days later my Mom gave me a P1,000 bill. She said it’s her way of compensating my services for driving my brother to his appointments for the past couple of weeks. Wow! I was so amazed!
