Hi guys – best wishes to all from Yorkshire, England. I have known about, and studied The Secret for a couple of years, with mixed results to be honest. I realised this morning that I had not been doing the third stage – receiving! or not consistently any way. so this morning I wrote out, in detail, what I wanted.

1. a partner. I have been single 18 months and whilst I have dated a few people I hadn’t found a connection.

2. to achieve a better body, and as part of this I made the decision that I was going to start cycling to work, but did not have a bike, so would have to wait till the end of the month to buy one

3. I wanted to refresh my wardrobe, sounds trivial, but you know when you just get a bit fed up of the same clothes?

Within SECONDS… I received a message on facebook from an old friend, who I had lost touch with (always had a bit of a fancy for but he was in a relationship) and he asked to take me for dinner on Valentines Day!

Then… my brother in law came round to the house, said he was having a clear out (he always buys the most expensive gear and never wears it!) and would I want some new jeans, jumpers, stuff not warn in ages! then… and I nearly passed out at this stage he said, “Do you know any one who wants a bike? mine has been stuck in the garage for a couple years, never use it” … HA!

I couldn’t believe it.

I tried to work out what brought these stuff to me, why it was so quick. and it was because I wrote it, was clear about it and had completely LET GO. I decided I wanted the stuff, and I just handed it over to the universe to work out with COMPLETE FAITH.

I didn’t ring round and ask any one if they ad a bike for sale… I didn’t ask if anyone had any single friends etc

I realised that, you know, sometimes it is difficult to let go and have faith, to give away your control, because it is so ingrained into us that we look for control in situations, but you just have to completely trust.
