Thin? And Me? Why, yes of course!!!!

IndiaPerfect Body - Check! Perfect Life - Check!
I’ve read each and every weight-loss story on this website. While the success stories impressed me so much, I failed to apply any principle to my life. I got on with regular workouts and moderate eating. Even though I got stronger and more flexible, the weight was stuck. I didn’t find any difference when I looked in the mirror.
Finally, after 4 years of yo-yoing with my weight, I decided to change my beliefs. Here are a few things I did which helped me gain my perfect body in just 2 months! –
1) I maintain a gratitude journal. In the book, are pictures of my ideal body. I look at them every day (even now) and thank the Universe for MY perfect body.
2) I always believed that exercise and a healthy diet would help me ‘lose-the-weight’. Since it was difficult to change those beliefs, I worked around them to make them more fun. I did workouts. I enjoyed – dancing, kickboxing, swimming… and on days when I was just lazy, I WATCHED workout videos and did these exercises in MY MIND (try out working out in your mind with every fiber in your body… You will feel as exhilarated as you would if you were actually working out!).
I didn’t starve myself. However, I began cooking everything I wanted to eat at home. Homemade food ensured that I didn’t overindulge. Once again, if YOU can believe that you can eat pizzas, cakes, cookies as much as you want and not get fat, then good for you. I just couldn’t somehow fathom.
3) This is one of my favorite exercises – Every night, I switch off all the lights. In a dark room, I meditate for 10 minutes to soft music. Then, I sip a glass of water slowly and deliberately, feeling the water as it travels down my food pipe. And as I am sipping the water, I imagine it to be a magical potion. I imagine it to clear away all the toxins in my body and enrich my body with health and vitality. And then, I conclude by offering thanks to the Universe. (Trust me, when you really FEEL and DO this exercise, you’ll feel wonderful!)
I slightly modified my lifestyle (not necessary, but I had to because I couldn’t change some of my beliefs) and modified my beliefs. And modifying the beliefs have led me to achieving my perfect body! 🙂
