There are two main reasons I want to start sharing my stories today:
First, I wish more people from Greece started to write (come on people! Let’s share our miracles :)). The second reason is that, since I started reading the stories by other people, I’ve wanted to share mine.

As others have done before (and keep doing) I have discovered that I have been using The Secret a lot, before finding out about it. What’s interesting is that others can call it god, others can call it energy or spirit, others (and that’s more convincing for the “scientific”, skeptical minds) can also read about quantum physics referring to it.

Before The Secret, I had read another book, which I still believe I hadn’t found by chance, called “Mind Power” by John Kehoe. Even before that, while still at school I had found out about it in every day life. One story as an example is: During Christmas holidays there were some exercises in physics I had to do (40 exercises) but I hadn’t studied enough since the beginning of the school year and I was sad that I couldn’t do it. Then suddenly I said to myself that I am determined to do at least some of them. The result was that I did most of them AND I was the only one in two classes that managed to do one of the exercises!

Back to now, there has been some things happening lately since I have broken up with my boyfriend and working in a job that wasn’t exactly what I want to do in my life. I wrote down in a piece of paper what I want:
-I want to be able to remain friends with my ex-boyfriend
-I want to work as an illustrator
-I want to have a perfect vision (I am wearing glasses)
-I want to cure my thyroid

I started visualizing about them happening every day and saying positive affirmations to myself. After a few days only, my ex-boyfriend sent me a request to talk on msn after months. That day I was happy and enthusiastic so I did another trick and said to myself that a friend would call me that day and guess what? 😉 She even told me on the phone that she wasn’t planning to call me at all. 😉

The second day after I wrote down that I want to work as an illustrator, I talked to some friends about this wish. The same day a friend of mine who is a publisher asked me to do some drawings for his magazine AND after a few days only, I found an ad about a woman who wrote a book and she wanted someone to illustrate it! And that’s only the beginning of what is going to happen in the future :))

I am still waiting for the day I will wake up totally surprised that I don’t need my glasses anymore! And the day I will find out my thyroid is cured!
I just want to say that it can happen (I know I am not very original!). After days of feeling depressed after the break-up and not knowing what I want to do with my life, and working in a job I don’t really like, things have started to take place! I am ready for bigger things!

Never lose hope no matter what, bad things and events can easily discourage us when we let our negative thoughts starting to emerge. And another important thing: listen to the positive people, the ones who love you, believe in you and support you. Don’t let the negative people influence you no matter how much they care and no matter how much they know.
